I am in the process of reading The Yada Yada Prayer Group series by Neta Jackson. I first found out about her when reading her more current House of Hope series (when I first starting going back to church) and I love her writing style. The fourth book for House of Hope came out in March, which is so exciting! Anyways, I just finished the first book of the prayer group series and can't wait to get my hands on Book 2: The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Down.
<< Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier is an awesome book. I loved it and historical fiction is a great genre. I love how she took a famous painting and showed us a painter's world and a woman's hard life. I know it is created events but it was still cool to see the life behind the girl in the painting and her painter.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson is what I am currently reading. It is very slow in the beginning but the author definitely knows how to keep you curious and interested. Otherwise I would have put this book down 100 pages ago. >>
